Hello, I'm Silu

And, here are 5 things about me.

01

Why Design?

It feels effortless because my motivation is intrinsic.

I love puzzles and finding better solutions.

The perfect blend of design and functionality inspires me, as thoughtful design can simplify complexities and solve problems.

02

Artistic pursuits…

Engaging in art helps me develop a keen eye for detail and enhances my ability to visualize concepts.

Sketching helps me experiment with design ideas. Digital illustrations allow for flexible iteration and refinement, ensuring every element is cohesive. Painting enhances my understanding of color theory and composition, contributing to visually appealing designs.

03

My design approach..

I'm all about the details, listening closely, and pushing boundaries. I test from every angle, embracing a daring and responsible approach.

I prioritize user needs, accessibility, consistency, performance, iteration, and collaboration to create impactful designs.

04

Learning and taking on challenges..

I continue to learn and embrace new challenges, otherwise life would be quite boring. Recently, I've taken up bouldering, and I love it.

During the pandemic, I learned to play chess, a game I had always wanted to master. Much like in chess, being a UI/UX designer feels like being sort of a mind reader—anticipating needs, predicting moves, and crafting seamless, enjoyable experiences.

05

Front-end skills…

My coding skills also make collaboration with developers smooth and efficient.

I have a good grasp of front-end development, using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. This helps me turn my designs into functional, responsive, and engaging user experiences.
